. Y’all, I flippin loved writing this story. I love my characters, I love their growth, their dumb jokes, their friendships! They feel like a part of me. I put myself into these characters and they feel like friends. This truly has been such a fun project that I hope will grow into more down the road. This saga began as just a fun excersise for Inktober, but four years later, it has grown into a project I do for myself each year and is growing into a world I want to explore more outside of a drawing challenge (Seriously, the rushing to finish is getting old! Inktober Day 25: 🔥Blinding Light🔥 Did anyone ever watch that Disneychannel show “American Dragon Jake Long?” Yeah, well it was my FAVORITE show in high school (y’all, I wrote fanfiction, I loved it that much!) Anyway, I couldn’t help but imagine Egan saying “DRAGON UP!” In this chapter! 🤣🤣🤣 But seriously, I think this may be one of my favorite drawings I’ve made of Egan! It’s very appropriate for this chapter where he’s realizing how good it feels to embrace who he is, not just to save his friends, but to save himself. I just love my character so much. It’s been a great month hanging out with him and I’d love to write more for him and his friends in the future, outside of Inktober!

Inktober Day 14: ⚔️ Blades Drawn ⚔️ uh oh! Busted!! Turns out they weren’t as alone in the castle as they thought! But it was so fun to bring my girl Bryony back! For those who don’t know, she was my first protagonist of this series back in 2020! She’s made an appearance in every story since, but this may be her darkest moment in the series. Get ready! Things are about to get a little intense!
